On a good night, you can see star clusters, details on planets, and even other galaxies if you know where to look. It is extremely simple to use without any complex technical details making it the ideal telescope for beginners. It is perfect to take with you for a weekend camping or as it is only about 40cm long and weighs just 1.8kg. The EQ-1 mount that comes with it is extremely light and compact and sets up in seconds. Just don’t let the girls catch you using it during the day while they’re tanning. They won’t be pleased. Don’t ask me how I know, just trust me.
